I am thinking on your teaching today. I was reading the Bible as a child because I wanted to understand what my parents and family were always discussing or directing at me personally, to emphasize the example I must always follow and it was the only way to live: I did not read all of the Bible until 19 years ago. I was 52 years of age. Something tragic happened in my life - it was 18 months of recovery - the words leaped off the page every day I read 18 months - I recovered this world because Jesus I knew Jesus saved me. In all these 19 years after, humble before God and even now, humbled Jesus kept me before I ever did read the Bible even as a child. Not spiritually dead, as it were John 5:39-47. Praise God. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. ♥️✝️♥️

Spot on! This was a perfect pod cast. Thank you! It did not mirror my own experience of getting to a relationship with the living God, but it point out the very important lesson of the relationship with Jesus as saving, not the Theological knowledge. Thank you Furgerson.
