You are really amazing. Fanatastic. I managed get all this code into Joomla using Regular Labs Sourcerer extension. Now i have datatables in a Joomla Item. Great job man. Very simple and step wise. Only problem is you did not explain much on ajax but pointed another course which i could not find. You are much better than Web Online Tutor but lack the explanation in many keys areas. Its ok. Cannot have them all. I need to do my own work too. Its ok to be spoon fed but its bad to ask for breast feading! Hehehe..

one note: i think the order that you are doing the function isn't too logical, usually it is better to create the html interface say what we need to do and then add functionnalities based on that...
and i didn't understand we need to modify the value in the interface, since the page loads automatically the data from the database, if we edit one, it will display the edited value, isn't that right?

at HTMLButtonElement.toString (<anonymous>)
at Function.type (jquery.min.js:2)" whenever I would click the edit button. I'm very new at jquery I have no idea how to get around this. .
