2021 Mazda CX-3 | SUV Review | Driving.ca

I like Mazdas. At least I thought I did. After a pleasant experience in the Mazda6 and the CX-9, I tried on Mazda's smallest ute for size. I was expecting the CX-3 to be fun, nimble, and refined in that quintessential Mazda way.

I was very wrong, and the disappointment set in less than 100 feet from where I started driving it.

Very reliable, fun and stylish car. I bought one instead of a CX30 because of its size (small car park at home), it’s stylish cockpit (very similar to mx-5´s) and because it’s 250 kg lighter than the CX30, which needs the Skyactiv X to offer the same performance ratio. The CX3 is a very good a pleasant car, which explains that Mazda did’nt need to update it significantly since 8 years. Well born.

We just bought a used 2019 Touring/Sunroof Pkg. Only 9k miles on it. Soul Red. After driving a dozen compact and subcompact SUVs, including the new CX-30 and CX-5, my wife liked this the best.

A brilliant, small car/suv. Awd, traditional transmission, decent quality engine. A bit slow, but if you don’t care about strong highway power, who cares? I would love one for a winter car, except I prefer manuals, but I would actually consider this car anyway.

In our country and side of Europe, the Cx30 unfortunately is 10k higher than this model.
Happy we get to have the Cx3 still.

i drove the previous gen cx-3 and it was a peice of garbage. handling was abysmal. the traction control would step in on the most mediocre of bends and nearly put me off the road a few times.
Plus, they are noisy, the clunk and bang over every bump. just trash.
