This song is about the Badaber Uprising, when Soviet and communist Afghan prisoners of war held captive by Afghan tеrrоrists, Pakistani forces, and American military advisors broke out in search of freedom, despite being vastly outnumbered. Unfortunately, none of the 52 prisoners survived, but according to some estimates, they managed to kill over 100 enemies using small arms and rockets captured from mujihadeen. This song's alternative title is "27 Апреля", or April 27th, the day this uprising occurred in 1985.

In the early 1980s, a refugee camp was located about 20 kilometers from the border with neighboring Afghanistan in the village of Badaber. Under the guise of a humanitarian mission, there was a large training base for mujahideen fighting against the Soviet army.
Pakistani instructors, together with foreign advisers, including those from the United States, taught the mujahideen firing from machine guns and portable anti-aircraft missile systems, guerrilla tactics, sabotage skills, mine explosives and sapper work.
It was believed that it was impossible to escape from this prison - along the perimeter there were eight-meter fences and towers with armed guards. Nevertheless, in the spring of 1985, several Soviet servicemen tried to break out of Badaber with a fight. After waiting for the evening prayer and making sure that most of the guards left their posts, they killed the remaining guards and seized the arsenal.
Alerted by the spooks and the Pakistani military, they immediately surrounded the camp. The Afghans tried to negotiate with the rebels - persistently begged to surrender, promised to save their lives. In response, the prisoners demanded to organize a meeting with the staff of the Soviet embassy, ​​the Red Cross or representatives of the UN. Neither the Pakistani authorities nor the Mujahideen could agree to such conditions.

All the weapons stored in the warehouses were at the disposal of the prisoners who occupied the roof of the arsenal. The attempts of the Mujahideen to take Badaber with superior forces each time drowned, they retreated with significant losses. The fierce battle did not subside for several hours, and then the attackers decided to involve artillery and aviation.

At some point, an explosion of incredible force thundered in the camp, recorded even by seismic sensors. Storages with thousands of barrels, mines, grenades, rounds for grenade launchers, cartridges flew into the air. A crater tens of meters in diameter gaped at the epicenter. Later, the American consulate in Peshawar reported to Washington that a layer of shell fragments, rockets and mines covered the camp territory, and local residents found human remains within a radius of four miles.
Why the warehouses with weapons exploded is not known for certain. According to one version, an artillery shell got there. According to the other, the warehouses were blown up by the insurgent prisoners: they had to either surrender and be tortured to death, or take as many militants with them as possible and completely destroy the camp.

According to Soviet intelligence, Badaber's prisoners were attacked by several hundred mujahideen. The rebels killed more than a hundred militants and several dozen military instructors.
