The Chateau Quarantine Diaries 5: THE ELUSIVE NIC TO THE RESCUE!

Here's the latest from my quarantine inside the Chateau de Lalande. It's a beautiful, sunny day, and our new volunteer, Selmar, starts repairing the greenhouse for the season ahead. Mummy's finally able to get in safely and starts planting the seeds for our organic vegetable garden. I'm so looking forward to cooking with the produce! We also have an epic problem in the chateau, and the Elusive Nic heroically comes to our rescue 💪🏻🏰💪🏻

Your mother laughing was hilarious - and contagious - I got the giggles too. How fortuitous to have a handy volunteer arrive - I am sure he will be a godsend during this lockdown period. It is wonderful how many museums, galleries, theatre companies and book sellers are sharing content during this time of isolation. Loved your comment about the value of being a horder! My hubby always complains about the wood we have in our garage. (I've been rebuilding all our kitchen cabinets and adding beadboard to the backs of the upper cabinets so I NEED all that wood!) On top of that, I have the equivalent of an attic's full of upholstery fabrics. There is plenty to keep ME busy. Might even have a few balls of string that need to be sorted! Keep up your vlogs. They are always inspiring!

I had such a good laugh just watching your mummy enjoying herself!! She has worked hard planting, ringing bells, and karate kicking the door to the greenhouse to get it to open!!!... she is a warrior!! maybe Selmar could add a little window rail to that window in her apartment, I like you was a little nervous thinking she could trip easily or loose her balance and fall from that window height. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your home, family and life with all of us, especially during this strange time in history!!... it really does take the mind away from all the anxiety we are all collectively going through for just a little bit. Oh I absolutely loved this...never watched The Quarantine Diaries before and have to say very warm and personal! I can't stop laughing at the elusive Nic with that paper bag 🤣...heard about him before, but never actually saw him here...guess will have to catch up on these earlier videos. Stephanie loved that pearl tiara...so reminiscent of an episode on The Tudors series a favorite of mine🏰. Stephanie you look so regal! 👑
