The Chateau Diaries 114: A LOCKDOWN EASTER AT LALANDE!

It's Easter at the chateau!!! And, in sprite of the lockdown preventing our huge annual Easter party, we celebrated this beautiful festival of springtime and renewal 🥚🐣🐥
It's one of my favourite time's of the year - we turn the fountain on as a symbol that Lalande is OPEN for the season ahead, the wildflowers are bursting into life, and our bluebell wood turns into fairyland. We celebrate our Easter Egg hunt there, and enjoy a sumptuous Easter lunch afterwards 🐰

This fabulous diary has made me smile for the first time in ten days after losing my lovely dad to C19. He was a wonderful gardener all his life and would have loved the bluebell woods. At 8:36 into the video at the upper right balcony, you can see a woman with a beautiful flowing white gown on but you can’t make out the head or a face to see who it is.
