Living in NJ we get fresh ones at ShopRite and I fry them in Zatarains. 👍

The great thing about living in DE is my close proxity to blue crabs in DE/MD/PA/NJ. I am craving old bay.

Im land locked so ill never know good seafood till i hit the shoreline one day i absolutely will, but you mentioning this makes me excited for foraging season to start so i can find nice fungi and spring veggies like cattails and fiddleheads

I've only ever had fresh soft shells. it makes sense they would freeze well for a couple months buttt I'm so ready for Chesapeake crab season to open!

Southeast Alaskan Dungeness? My family and I live on an island so we eat seafood a lot 😊 Most people here live a subsistence lifestyle. Everybody has two or three deep freeze. One for game, venison, moose etc. Then another for seafood, shrimp, crab, King salmon, Sockeye, Halibut.

most japanese restaurants use frozen soft shell crab also either raw or pre-battered fried. those ones you got look pretty big
