They had focused on protecting individuals within the ranks of the ANC and stealing government resources, forgetting about building this country.

In South Africa criminals are called STALWARTS, even his body language says it all that their ANC was NEVER about the interests of the masses this is so sad 😭😭😭

Last time I saw this comrade he was driving an unlicensed Maserati convicted 3 times for drunken driving (pardoned by our "honest" Cyril once) or hewould have and should have gone to jail, again. What's scary is this guy represents the best the ANC had to offer, and now the MK has to offer.

Watch how the presenter completely ignores the crime of Phala Phala that Tony refers to. So smooth.

Everytime a South African politician starts a sentence with a deep sigh and followed by "well...eh", just know he's about to dribble you with tall tales

The arrogance and smugness of Yengeni beggars belief. It’s amazing that he thinks so highly of himself. Zero integrity, zero credibility. He gives off the air that he’s superior to those around him. Hawk tua!

Thanks Mr Yengeni for pointing out that the ANC is now using EFF and MK as scapegoats for its declining support, instead of correcting itself internally

They must respect the way /culture of the ANC? - accept the lying, cheating and stealing culture of the ANC? Really?

Mike, I tried bro. Got as far as 22.41...kudos to u for asking the tough questions, and maintaining your composure. I cant help but feel that Yengeni's victim status following his sentence was the clearest signal up to that point of how the 'liberation' fairytale would end 😢

Mandela opened the door to corrupt elements like Tony who felt some entitlement because they fought for liberation. He praises Zuma & Gupta's. Sies

For the first time someone is telling the truth about Mandela’s legacy. He did more damage than any of the presidents that came after him with Ramaphosa being second on that list

One thing appreciate about this episode, Mr Yengeni is pointing out things and lack of integrity within the ANC. Let’s agree there is a lot happening within the ANC. When he says ANC attracted people who wanted ANC for themselves to advance their own interests.. I think he is correct, looking at what is happening in country you can tell certain things are covered by high powers..

A difficult interview by the looks of it, walking on eggs is what I perceive. Mr Yengeni is not being forthright either, carefull not to show his true feelings.

"The South African state is relatively mediocre in the best-known “Corruption Perception Index” ranking of 180 countries’ administrations (including politicians), compiled by Berlin-based Transparency International. In contrast, during the 2010s the PwC “economic crime and fraud” reports revealed that South Africa’s corporations were considered the worst in the world in general and – in the 2014 survey – also in the categories of money laundering, bribery and corrupion, procurement fraud, asset misappropriation and cybercrime.". Professor Patrick Bond

Corruption is a South African problem & should be addressed as such. This is not to defend the ANC, every corrupt comrade should be locked up, but to claim it's easy is misleading. ANC corruption is bad, but the private sector makes the same ANC look like nuns...
