Suspended ANC SG Ace Magashule eulogises late ANC member Pule Mlambo

The late ANC member Pule Mlambo has been described as a leader who was firm, principled and believed in the African national congress. Family, friends and comrades paid their last respects to Mlambo during a funeral service in Randburg. He passed away on Monday at the age of 59 after a short illness. Mlambo who was instrumental in the establishment of Cosas, also served as a PR councillor and was Regional Secretary of the ANC in the greater Johannesburg region.
Mlambo served as an underground MK operative during apartheid.
At the time of his death, Mlambo was a senior staff member in the office of the Secretary-General.

The SG has become such an electrifying singer since Ramaphosa turfed him out. I get the feeling that music might as well be the SG's weapon of choice as he battles both formally and informally against the Ramaphosa hegemony. One gets the impression that the liberation narrative is being used to lay claim on being a more creditable liberation icon. This is going to be a long drawn battle within the ANC.
