Another very useful command everyone should learn is "sudo !!". What it does, is to repeat the last command you entered, but with root privileges, so, if you forgot to add sudo at the beginning of your command, or you did not know sudo was required, and now the terminal is nagging you about requiring root privileges, just "sudo !!" and voilá! You can think of it as the command.
