Показать описание
Review of the HardKernel Odroid HC4 two bay "toaster" NAS. Utilizes Amlogic S950X3 Cortex Arm A55 CPU, 4GB DDR4 RAM, two SATA slots.

Sorry, HardKernel is from South Korea not Europe. My bad.

This video is sponsored by me and my empty wallet.

Seems buying from HardKernel with PSU is best price at the moment (May 23 2023)

Strangely I don't see the ip adress. I have ethernet working when in petitboot, but it is not connected when in hardkernel...

Very helpful video, but for those watching on a small screen the command is "netboot_default" - underscore between the two words, no quotes :)

I installed all this many months ago. I am able to connect via samba and have full access to the drive. The problem is that I received an email from the unit saying that an update is available, I tried to login to the console but unfortunately I dont remember the user and password that I used. I tried the default one shown in this video but nothing works. Should I reinstall everything from scratch? If so, I hope I will be able to reconnect the current external drive ... or maybe I should just live like this and forget to log in the console ...

I got mine working, but I don't have any of the menu options that you do on the left. Was there some setup that was cut out of the video?

my hc4 is taking over an hour to install.. is this normal? you said 16 minutes! I am so confused. I followed the same steps. I am using a samsung endurance pro (2022) 64gb if that makes a difference.

Anyone having issues with your Odroid not connecting to the network after debian 11 install. After the 10.20 mark in the video you need to do a "nano /etc/network/interfaces" and edit the parts that say end0 to say eth0 and ctrl+x and save as original file name.
