How to do Multi-Language audio on your YouTube videos

YouTube videos can be viewed by people in a variety of languages, regardless of their native tongue. Creators can now add multi language audio to their videos on YouTube.

In other words, people will be able to watch videos in their primary language dubbed. For a very long time, YouTube has been testing the feature with a small group of creators.

YouTube said, in testing, they found multi-language dubbed videos saw a 15% watch time increase that derived from views in a video's non-primary language.

YouTube's Subtitles Editor tool allows creators to add different audio tracks when uploading videos. It is also possible for creators to update existing content in their catalog through this tool.

Was hoping that this video would explain how creators actually add multi-language audio to YouTube videos, when the feature is enabled for a creator channel....

You mention that extra audio tracks can only be added by third party dubbing companies - is that right? Seems a no brainer to me that they should allow multilingual YouTubers to add their own dubbed audio tracks. Hopefully there will be info soon on if creators with the feature can actually add dubs themselves rather than have to pay third parties to enable the feature.

Do you have to have a certain amount of subscribers to have this feature? Some people say that you need to have at least 100k subs to get it but neither article from YouTube mentions any requirements other than to live in a country where it is available for now.
