Went to both nationals and at fanatic fest today. The nationals are now the second best card show. Fanatic fest actually felt like a large trade show like CES/ and has room to grow.

The nationals seem more like a card convention while Fanatic Fest seems more like an all-around sports fan convention. FF looks to have more activities that sports fans who are not card collectors can enjoy.

Rich man cards show. Most of us average collectors cant afford to go to shows in NYC. I would like to see these big card shows travel to other cities across the nation.

This will be a nice event for many people but not for me...I'm a 75-yr. old collector buying and selling cards for 60 years...but, this kind of event has too much of everything, including too many $$$ to attend...roundtrip airfare from Kansas City to New York, hotel, transportation, food, fees to attend, etc...I hope the event is a success.
