Hey, I just need to ask someone for advice, I am in eighth grade and in an honors math class which means that I am in a freshman math class, we were planning to have a test Friday but Thursday the teacher decided that we didn’t need to review the day before the test and so we just started a new unit the day before we took the test, but we didn’t know if we were getting the problems wrong because the way that she formatted the class we turn in our homework and never saw it again and so we didn’t know if we were getting those questions wrong and when we were taking notes in class she didn’t give us a chance to work through the problems our self she just sped through them really fast so we were barely able to copy them down so on the test it was 24 questions 10 of them being word problems that took us at least five minutes to do each, there were also 10 vocabulary questions from the beginning of the unit, we were not given a study guide on what we were supposed to know. Everyone was taking their time working on the test because we knew that last year we were allowed to come in and finish test after school if we didn’t finish them and so then when there was about 10 minutes left I asked the teacher oh I’m not gonna be able to finish in time and do the work properly so can I come in at lunch or after school to finish the test and she replied with a flat out no. Everyone in my class knows that they failed the test, what should I do and I how should I approach my teacher about this issue.
