Ahh my favourite place in Rome. The view from the Pincian Hill across the piazza and on Rome and Vatican is just amazing and really empowering. A must-see!!

Beautiful shots, but everything looks wider than it should. People look short and chubby, obelisks and church domes look stubby. The Porta Pia is not that wide across. Still, I like looking at these once familiar places, especially the church of Santa Maria del Popolo.

July 2015 the center of the square is under renovation, so you can see the Egyptian Thing sticking up, but the fountain is behind barriers and not accessible. Just FYI

Che città incredibile, le possibilità che avrebbe Roma sotto molteplici aspetti di rendersi ancora più incredibile, secondo me se si lavorasse nei prossimi anni per dargli un tocco nord europeo, sia dal punto di vista della funzionalità che dell'ordine sarebbe ancora più bella, immaginate se si eliminassero tutte quelle corruttere, quegli atteggiamenti viziosi che l'hanno fatta sedere su se stessa, come seduto su se stesso è tutto il paese, certo ci vorrebbe coraggio, un ripulisti generale e profondo, alzare l'asticella verso grandi obbiettivi e valori nuovi per ridarsi slancio e per ridarlo al paese, ora Roma è il contrario della trasparenza e fino a quando rimarrà così sotto ricatti, connivenze, omertà generale, tutto è destinato a marcire o rimanere così com'è nel migliore dei casi, in più ci sono troppe persone vecchie che ne hanno passato di tutti i colori e chissà quante ne sanno, che hanno posti di rilievo, con questa base non si può fare altro che ripetere gli stessi errori, si vede quando si scelgono le persone che dovrebbero guidare il paese che non sono scelte per rilanciare il paese, ma per garantire chi ha commesso gli errori fino a ieri, dove si vuole andare con questi presupposti?
