Ely Lodge Forest Walk, Co. Fermanagh, N. Ireland 19/11/20

Another great local walk, this time in Ely Lodge Forest, about 6 miles north of Enniskillen and on the shores of Lower Lough Erne. Andrea was not with me this time so I was able to go off track a few times! Watch out for some local wildlife, including 2 Red Squirrels.

Due to a laptop crash I lost movie maker and so had to find a new editing program. I had to quickly learn how to do it so there may well be a few gremlins in this video. However, I have ordered a new laptop and will endeavour to get smarter at this editing process.

I am reliably informed that the small mouse/vole on the pathway is in fact a Wood Mouse!

Ashley, surely you don't need an upgrade! Always good to explore new paths. Lough Erne looking beautiful and absolutely being out in the open air is good for mental health. Great wildlife spots and a great viewpoint over the Lough.

When you started using the Royal 'We', I started to think that you are really the Duke of Westminster! Lock down, circuit breaker, call them what you wanted we need that vaccine to work and we are the same, first in the queue if we can be. Nice place to have a walk out and very quiet there as well, apart from the red squirrels - what camera are you using by the way? I had to laugh when you said I have been in here thousands of times and 5 minutes late 'I'm lost'....lol. I hope you were not late for dinner, cheers Alan
