Ugh, I don’t even want to think about how sticky and gross those would get. Not to mention the extra time soaking them and cleaning them up. No thanks

This might also be useful for people with mobility issues. It would open up the possibilities for the disabled and job opportunities maybe???

That just looks like contamination from one shot to the next.

This looks more to be something that'd help disabled people (specifically, those of us who struggle with lifting, pouring, shakiness/tremurs, et cetera).
Just remember, just because a product isn't for you, it doesn't mean there is no benefit.

The initial video is of the “jellinator”, which is specifically designed for pouring Jell-O shots because of the difficulty of getting the hot sticky jello mix into little individual cups for it to set. I don’t think it was meant to be a replacement of just pouring a regular shot

Those look really great for people with arm and wristb mobility issues ❤

You don't understand the product.
This isn't for pouring normal shots. It is specifically meant for pouring Jello shots, which are poured hot before they set.

I prefer how we do it in Ireland. Every bar has detachable nozzles that go onto the bottle that pour out EXACTLY 35.5ml of alcohol every time!
You’re never getting short changed, and you’re never accidentally drinking more than you thought you were.

In Canada they make us pour it into a jigger or a regulated shot glass before the glass. I still used the “seconds count” when pouring and used the shot glass… but we also had regulated machines with tanks. But they don’t let us just “free pour” as they call it.

Reminder that some tools that dont make sense to us could be for disabled people 😁

In the UK we’re legally obliged to use stamped 25/50ml measures or dispensers - (in some cases 35/70ml). Only exception is drinks with 3 or more spirits/liqueurs. (As far as I remember)

I'm for it! Clean it nightly with a rag wet with rubbing alcohol. Using this would reduce waste by a significant amount when used by less experienced workers.

The standard pour test was mandatory at TGI Fridays when I worked there

No lost drips on the counter or running down the side of the glass! Literally saving every last drop! That's awesome!

I could see that being an accessibility tool maybe? Like for someone who has issues with their wrists and can't twist them easily without pain or can't twist them at alll. It's a moot point if that bottle can't be stored with the nozzel down though

Sometimes if you don't understand something its not meant for you. I could see this being useful for someone who is disabled or otherwise has difficulty pouring liquid <3

I do believe that this was originally created for jello shots which can be very difficult to pour.

I've heard mixed reviews about those automatic liquor spouts that stop after a serving is poured. I had a bartender/bar manager love it since it helped with inventory and other's over pouring but then other's complained about them not working all the time and keeping them clean and sanitized was another issue. If you haven't already made a video about it could you make one discussing the pros and cons to the liquor spouts that measure out a certain amount and then stop when that amount is poured?
