I think this is a great pattern, it can highlight both big prints and tiny prints so it would work for a lot of peoples stash. PS I like your haircut! ❤

Very nice free pattern. I've printed it out. I'm cutting up my scraps into 4 1/2 inch and 2 1/2 inch squares and could possibly use them in this.

Cathy, Your new haircut looks good! I like the pattern you were sewing by Robert Kaufman and it would look great scrappy. The one without the blue did come out really nice. I like the tester blocks, you should do them more often.

Hello Cathy ! I really love this block. I am going to make it with scraps with white centers. Also decided this would be the one to make for busting my Christmas scraps. Lighter Christmas leftovers with a red center and the vice versa for the darker fabrics. I am very excited for this as I was wanting a new Christmas quilt this year. Hi Cathy! I really like your haircut! The Silverstone block is pretty.
I rather like the contrast in the other block that has blue in it. To me if there had been one more piece of blue on it, it would have balanced it iut.
