Shmee is a grown adult, Youtuber, and well established businessman. There's absolutely no way that the vinyl kit he received with ALL of the sponsors and instructions on placement that was uniform on ALL the other cars wasn't understood on his part. I'm 99% sure of it. He's a very intelligent person, it's not like Gumball sent them a bunch of extra vinyl that the team's could decide whether or not they wanted to represent them on their car, it was a very strict set of sponsors.

Looks to me like Shmee ran the majority of Gumball driving on his own and just gently cruising along. No DDE stickers and no wearing of any gumball clothing. Don't get me wrong, I love Shmee and what he has achieved. His gumball journey felt a bit flat and lifeless.

I appreciate that it was a conversation visible to the audience rather than some petty spat. Everyone handled it the best possible way and we should all take a lesson from it. Damon was direct, but diplomatic. Tim apologized and offered an olive branch. This is the most masculine thing I've seen in a while. And if they can move forward, so can we.

You're getting a little glimpse of Shmees true colors. That was super petty.

Even if he really didn't know why the DDE vinal was in the kit, he could have called them, or just put them on anyway because he claims to be their so called friend.

I know if I saw my friends logo in a vinal kit, I wouldn't hesitate to put it on my car like that. I would be proud to.

Shmee knew exactly what he was doing, he’s not stupid or he wouldn’t be where he is now with his car collection, speaks with intelligence. And proven by him clarifying "if a football player drove a car with a rival team sticker on…." Just proved he fully well knew what he was doing, he basically indirectly said he didn’t want to drive a car with a rival YouTubers logo on. There is no way he didn’t know DDE was a sponsor for the rally. At least he technically admitted to it and willing to make it up. You can tell Dave was pissed n disinterested.

The fact that he confronted Schmee like a man and not talk about it on social first is commendable. If in reality you have no issues with DDE and respect the Gumball organization, then I don't see why you can't support the homies and rock their brand with a temporary sticker.

I honestly never even looked to notice the DDE logo missing. I was curious of why Tim never wore any Gumball gear. From a marketing and respect perspective, if your a legit sponsor, you should be represented as such. $500k??!! DDE is working hard to play at the next level. Great work DDE & TEAM!!

The Gumball terms and conditions:

19.1. You agree to have the official decal pack applied to your vehicle by Organiser's nominees and to maintain them on your vehicle during the entire Event. This consists of the Gumball 3000 logo and all official partners and sponsors names and logos as well as your allocated team number.

19.2. You shall not deface, cover up or otherwise obscure such stickers and shall use all reasonable endeavours to keep them visible at all times.

Really showed how Tim holds his brand apart from everyone else and he has a very high opinion of himself. He got SIX (6!!!!) full sponsor packs which included the DDE logo and didn’t know that that logo was a sponsor? I call bullshit. Gumball would have confirmed. A quick check with Damon would have confirmed.

Disappointed in his attitude BUT anyone that has done an event with sponsor logo requirements it should come down to Gumball to ensure all competitors stick to the event requirements.
