I had the pleasure of hearing you in concert, my very first concert in Desplains, Illinois on Saturday October 22nd. I was so starstruck when you allowed us to have you selflessly autograph items. I went to your concert with the personal need to thank you for your music. Specifically your song "The Father, my Son and the Holy Ghost". I wanted to talk to you and tell you how listening to that song has many times pulled me out of very dark places. I read .about the loss of your beautiful son Jerry. Three years ago I lost my amazing son Alex after a freak fall from a cliff while attending a friend's wedding at a State Park in Illinois. I felt connected to you and wanted to personally thank you. But when it was my turn to have you sign my sweatshirt I looked at you and forgot how to speak. I lost my chance. Your music is healing and I know I am not the only one to benefit from your magic. I also wanted to tell you that I have tried everything to contact your management team. I have had numerous scammers contact me pretending to be you. I am seriously the most gullible person alive and fell for it for a short time, then found out they were from Nigeria bullying us to send (you) lots of money or many different reasons. I was so worried about you, your beautiful wife Karen and your children. I wanted to protect you somehow. I obviously am from a very small town in Michigan and believed my need to shield you all from these terrible people, by somehow showing them a better way to make money for themselves. That didn't work. Sorry. My family thinks I am crazy to believe that I can make them understand what they are doing to you is wrong.
I had the greatest evening Saturday at the Desplain's venue. It was intimate and perfect for my first concert ever. Thank you again Craig from the bottom of my heart❤️
