I LOVE this song!!  He sings this with so much emotion.  And I am not sure why some people seem to have such an issue with the first verse of this song.  They are not together any longer and he is still in love with her and can't get over her no matter what.  I can definitely understand these feelings.  it took me a very long time to get over someone many, many years ago and nothing and no one else helped with it but time.

The best song besides Jerry's song I have ever heard him sing live. He is amazing in concert and the most humble man. Met him at a small country music festival when I worked for the radio station. As a vet and a Christian he ranks high on my list of favorites.
