making a Tetris ball

The construction is based on a blown out cube with the 7 tetris block types rotated and placed onto that. There’s 96 in total. It was like playing the game acoustically.

Just the fact alone that a 13 year old was able to do something that people have been trying to do without success since before he was born is truly amazing. Doesn't matter that it's a video game, it still took tons of practice, skill and dedication

Beating a game twice as old as you when the whole world hasn’t even dreamt of beating it is one hell of an accomplishment

Another thing that worsens it for that lady is this kid's dad died only a week or two prior to this. It was probably his way of coping, then when he beat the game and became the world's first to complete it he dedicated it to his father, and that news anchor decided it was fine to absolutely disrespect him.

It's insane to think that a 13 year old kid managed to do the impossible and beat every professional that's attended it. It's inspirational!

ok but being the first person to ever beat tetris at the age of 13 is something id put on my resume if i could. it quite literally proves that youre more dedicated to things than 27 years worth of a head start everyone else had.

That women who tells him that’s not an achievement clearly doesn’t know how and Tetris becomes. Blue is an absolute legend for what he’s accomplished

Of course it’s not a life goal, he’s not even an adult yet! I can’t imagine how awesome his life goal will be

What struck me was this lady was talking about this kid as if he was 40. He's 13 and he has a WHOLE life ahead of him to accomplish many more goals.. shame on that news Lady.

That TV anchor is such a rude person to a literal child who accomplished so much that millions of people haven’t done in the decades that the game has existed before him. Her ignorance is beyond comprehension and it’s repugnant to have even publicized her humiliating a child like that.

It's actually very sweet to gift that kid this ball. Like. He really did something no one has ever done before. And then so did you - pretty sure no one has ever made a Tetris ball? - and you gifted it to him in honor of his accomplishment. Idk if you ever managed to get it to him but the sentiment is wholesome.

That kid has a sponsorship from Complexly (Hank and John Green) now lol.

"Beating Tetris is not a life goal"
Lady, this thirteen year old is better at a video game than you'll ever be at anything.

the phrase "playing Tetris acoustically" has an incredibly menacing aura

I absolutely love everything about this video

Not only you have masterfully constructed the ball but also explained the nuances of the Tetris competetive gameplay

And the context is great too with that reporter in the end lol

And editing is amazing too with Tetris references!

Update: we now know that Tetris helps people cope from traumatic situations. I do not know why, but someone did a study and I find that incredibly cool

Kicking the ball into the news reporter at the end was gold 😂
