For those of you who want to leave a bad comment about me shifting the manual gearbox, PLEASE read this first. I had SO many people saying the same things over and over again and I keep replying to all those messages over and over again and it makes me really frustrated and tired of doing so and at the same time I have a personality that I have to clarify everything so here it goes.

The shifting method you THINK I am doing badly is NOT because I am a bad driver. It's the car's problem. In fact, I am NOT a famous pro racer or anything but I am a semi-professional racer and instructor that actually TEACH people how to drive a manual. I am one of the fastest manual shifting people out there and THAT'S WHY some of the not-so-great cars CANNOT handle my shifting speed because I shift WAY too fast. Please take a look.

So PLEASE stop commenting I am a bad driver or I need to learn how to drive a manual and so forth. LOL Those comments are not even close to my driving skills. YES I know, ... for cars like M3, BRZ and the M5 I should have changed the gears LOT "slower" to match their characteristics but sometimes I forget I am in a lesser cars and I have a tendency to treat all cars like the Ford GT or Porsches. Just wanted to make myself clear once and for all. Thank you!

my m2 n55 always does automatic rev-matching without fail. i'm getting a short shift kit installed soon and very excited to see how the shifting feel changes because i'm pretty sure it's not the tranmission that's actually so bad

You’re upshifting and downshifting incredibly fast. Manual BMWs in general don’t take well to that kind of shifting, unfortunately.

what about the manual M3 do you not like, specifically? i personally am frustrated by a bit of rev hang from 1st to 2nd gear. considering doing the clutch delay valve delete to improve speed and smoothness for this shift. Agree sti manual transmission, at least stock for my old 2019 car, was trash. best manual i've driven was my s2000. m3 between the two.

How BMW’s make manual transmissions is a little disappointment. Compared to the Porsche’s manual transmissions it literally sucks! Not only the “feel” sucks the throws are very imprecise and clunky even best drivers like me misses the shifts. 😢 Plus, the automatic downshift rev-match function is inconsistent - sometimes works and sometimes does not. Have no idea why but my F80 M3 had the same problem so I don’t think it’s anything only this car has the problem with.😢 Why can’t BMW just make perfect manual transmissions like Porsches??? 비머가 수동미션을 만드는거에 솔직히 많이 실망이다. 폴쉐의 수동 미션에 비하면 정말 개떡같다 (진짜로!!) 느낌만으로도 별로인거를 떠나서 각 기어 들어가는게 부정확하고 좀 어딘가 모르게 어색하다. 나같이 정말 운전 잘하는 사람조차 (실제 레이싱으로 단련된) 실수가 날 정도니 말이다. 그리고 자동 다운싀프트 알피엠 매칭 기능이 됐다 안됐다 한다. 이유를 모르겠다 하지만 이전에 전 모델인 F80 M3 도 수동이었는데 똑같은 문제가 있었던것으로 보아 이 차만의 문제는 아닌거 같다. 도대체 비머는 폴쉐처럼 수동미션을 왜 완벽히 못 만들까? 😮😮😮

Do you recommend the G80 M3? I am really considering it as my next car & currently have a '23 Lexus IS500. Sucks that the competition doesn't offer a manual. Does the manual trans suck? I also had a '21 STI & enjoyed the 6-speed in the Subie.

im sorry but you are shifting terribly. you are shifting the gear lever way before youve even pushed the clutch in. i know you keep getting comments about it but do not make excuses and blame the car.
