The game desperately needs an enemy faction, since corrupt sentinels appeared and due to the lore already in the game, it would make sense to have corrput Gek/vykeen/korvax that would attack your capital ship and your base, you'd have to build defenses and stuff like that, something completely doable without a huge effort, and would make things more fun, imagine a Nexus mission for you and a few friends to raid a corrupt korvax outpost? GIMME THAT HG

My no mans sky wishlist

1)Make On planet dungeons out of
•on planet freighters
•Ancient ruins

2) Add more content to anomalous planets such as anomolous gek vykeen and korvax trading post variants

3)Add derelict space stations to replace the useless abandoned ones
In abandoned star systems

4)increase the amount of building types that are findable throughout planets

5) add multiple biomes per planet to increase the exploration value of planets

6) revamp caves

Cities/towns, factions, more survival aspects, dynamics. Nms just needs more things to spice up gameplay, and this is a big step towards this

They seem to have built some much better procedural interior tech for this update, let's hope it's just testing the waters for future dungeon style missions. Though I would still love a planetary variation update personally ;)

I hope this content is a sign of the future for NMS, hopefully caves and ruins also start having more interesting interiors, humanoid enemies would be cool as well, the combat feels better in this new update as well.

I hope this procedural dungeon thing expand to having procgen dungeons in stations and planet surface. How cool would it be to go into an ancient maze and looking for artifacts worth money or nanites to certain entities

Anyway good video LZ! Please continue covering NMS

I recently downloaded this game and its pretty dope. It would be sick if they actually continue the saga of dead space combined with this game.

It’s one of the best updates I’ve seen! (This is Jamie btw) I’ve been playing it Three or four times more than I have since April, probably since November even. Now a game I used to use to ease myself into sleep is something I want to play early on into my days off. And here I am watching the third or fourth video of yours in a string of related content that’s so fulfilling which is refreshing as hell considering time spent and a few disappointments. I would like the next update to dive further into a real menace and a shaking up of the lore. I mean something that threatens everything across all iterations. Snatch some beloved characters or something for good though!

Imagine they would do Corrupted or dead space stations to explore... or quest like recover the Space Stations by killing all the infected monsters inside the space station. That would be very cool :D

Halo style vehicular combat.
Mass Effect 2 style squad system.
Borderlands Guns.
Shadow of Mordor nemesis system.
Diablo style builds and leaderboards.

Having a gametype that can't be modded, has anti-cheat and provides a legit economy with leaderboards would really help the multiplayer.
What's the point if you can just change your .ini save file.

...and change that whole text based campaign. Chop it down and voice it in the background. It spoils the replay value. Make the characters from it part of your first default squad. Then grow your crew procedurally and do loyalty missions like Mass Effect 2.
With a larger crew and fleet you can conduct larger ground and space battles. There needs to be some kind of galactic war that can be found easily in frontline systems. Enemies with the scope of the Covenant and the Flood from Halo. Right now in NMS the only real enemies are the Sentinels. Imagine if Halo only had sentinels to fight against. HA!
The 3 factions that they have in the game STILL have no leaders or wars between each other. Each corner of the galaxy should have some combination of the 3 going to war, and you have to make the decision for your whole character career, which race is allied, neutral and hostile. That would add to a sense of ownership and replayability. As it is you can have everything in every playthrough, no interesting consequences or limitations.

The game needs a lot of long-term motivators:
-villains to take vengeance on
-locked doors that have more than plants behind them
-item builds that have interesting synergy
-roles that players can specialize in when in co-op
-sacrifices. limitations. stakes.
-decent puzzle minigames
-a genuine challenge somewhere
-an unattainable challenge somewhere that requires mass-multiplayer co-op

The psvr on this is... mind blowing. It felt like dead space and then I ran into the glowing Metroids. And instantly wanted more creatures to fight!

This game needs more weapons and enemies man. Also harder difficulties!

Would be cool if they took this idea and put it on planets as abandoned bases that come in different types. Like ones that go deep underground and others that are tower like.

Well, origins added so much more! I'm outright addicted.

The enemies don't provide any threat. They're just too easy. Why does HG keep doing this?

That said, the atmosphere is amazing and the little logs are quite interesting

I just hope that HG doesn't just keep putting out features without polishing and making them better, like you said. This needs some work, especially with difficulty

It would be cool if they made the pirates in the game able to board your freighter if you don’t fight them off and you actually had to fight them throughout your ship

I've been playing NMS for like 2 weeks now and I didn't know what to do with those derelict freighters. Suddenly, an update comes out of blue and its this good? I'm glad they added NMS to Xbox pass and I hope it will stay there :)

I think it needs more challenge, the enemies do pitiful damage and die way too fast, and the number of enemies on the derelicts is like 4. I think that if they stopped adding more foundation content, and instead built up the foundations they added, the game would be significantly better.

I guess you don't want to hear that I enjoyed the VR update, but I'll summarize my greatest moment: It was about 2am. I was on a small, foggy planet, learning how to tame some animals for the first time. My goal was to tame maybe 12 little lizard puppy creatures. I only had 2 or 3 to go when acid rain started to fall. I decided to get in my ship and wait it out. This was the moment. 2am, sitting in my ship while it was raining, I reclined my chair and looked up out of the cockpit windshield and it was just so immersive. I'm equally terrified and excited to get into this new update There are VR players out there, and it's ok that you're not one of it. Just wanted to tell you that great things can come from it, though! Have a good'n!

This is my first time on the channel. I've only been playing since early-mid 2019 but I've been highly interested since launch.

I agree that this type on content should be a prominent focus for future updates. I admittedly get off on management type games, which is the vibe I get when I play NMS usually. It's mostly exploring and collecting.

I just got done with my first deralict freighter 30 minutes ago. I've only seen one type of enemy and I'm on a Normal playthrough. The combat is kind of lame in terms of my gaming history. I have a lot of FPS titles under my belt... but for NMS I consider it a phenomenal improvement.
