I really loved watching Brianna and Marsali hugging Claire. In my eyes they are both her daughters.

This episode broke my heart because it was in the exact moment they reunited, it dawned on me that all the Fraser’s have encountered assault (beaten and r*aped) in the same way. Jamie, Fergus, Brianna and Claire. Absolutely gut wrenching.

It's horrible that this family (Jamie, Claire, Brianna and Fergus) have all gone through such an awful, traumatic experience....also I get that Bree, Claire and Jamie are more central characters, but Fergus's trauma deserves way more attention than it's gotten

This is one of the things that stopped from reading the books for so long. I was so scared this would happen and then when it didn’t I was happy. Then when it happened I was devastated. I’m up to the 8th book and really hope there will be no more of this. This family has been through more then enough.

I understand that this is an adaptation and they want to "entertain" the audience but I don't understand why they had to make the rape scene so much more physically violent than it was in the books especially as this could potentially cause further upset to some people. In the books it was one single man who was missing his wife not a whole gang of them and Lionel Brown was too scared to go near her because of Jamie and the fact that he thought she was a witch.
