Banjo-Kazooie Review (Xbox 360 / N64)

Banjo-Kazooie is a classic platformer from the good ole N64 days. Often called "that ripoff of Super Mario 64" Banjo Kazooie is truly a great game. It's a ton of fun and you need to buy it. RIGHT NOW! Not kidding, go buy it as soon as the review is done.

I can truly say, Banjo Kazooie and the Zelda games for the N64 have changed my life as now. Im 21y but still loves videogames/pc games and thats is all thanks to nintendo who made these amazing games!

Love Banjo-Kazooie. I am one of the people that loves the first one and has played through it several times but hasn't finished the 2nd one even once. The main problem I had with the 2nd one was the whoie backtracking, as you needed to get certain moves in a later world in order to get a jiggy or two in an earlier one. Only had to do it herefor the speed shoes.

I loved the gibberish talking and really liked Grunty's rhymes. Also, Furnace of Fun part is easily my favourite part in the game.

Nice! I did notice a few graphical enhancements such as texture or shader effects added to the collectables, and some to the backgrounds. I guess that is to be expected in an XBLA port.

Interesting font change in the XBLA version. What was wrong with the original font besides changing a few words to match the Xbox 360 controls or removing N64 references?

wow yuri, like 5 years ago i just 100%'d the original n64 release and i still own banjo kazooie, banjo tooie, and banjo kazooie gruntys revenge (should have been the xbox game but was released for Game boy advanced).
Loved the series and i love your vids!

I think you should review Conker's Bad Fur Day! It's a lot of fun and it's hilarious. Even if you don't have it, I would recommend playing. It's awesome.

im the exact opposite on the note thing, i liked that you had to get all of the notes over again, it gave me the sense of challenge and made it so i would have to keep myself alive for the entire level, which i did eventually get used to doing and surviving until i finished getting all of the notes at least once
i would get the jiggles and everything else after i would get all of the notes in 1 long run

Did you know that, on the Xbox Live Arcade version, they cut out the beating up sound effect(s) when Tooty is being kidnapped at the first? I thought that that was odd.
