Iran President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials including Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian died in a helicopter crash in a mountainous area of the country on Sunday. Jane Kinninmont, policy and impact director at the European Leadership Network, discusses the events and the potential implications for regional geopolitics. "We don't know what is going to happen in terms of the blame game, whether the government will see this as a tragic accident or whether they will try to cast blame on others," Kinninmont tells Bloomberg Television.

What happened to Putin's chef, Prigozin? What happened to Xi's dear friend, Li Keqiang?
- Would they be ruled out in the Iranian 🇮🇷 Ebrahim Raisi case?

I wonder if Raisi lost his little cap when the copter hit the mountain?

There will be no huge changes or implications. The real leader is Ali Khamenei. The Mullahs are still in power and do not seem weaken at all. A sudden change favouring the US and its policies in Iran or around the region is definitely a wishful thinking.
Yes, an important political figure suddenly died but I am not sseing any revolution on the streets of Teheran like in the 1980s.

“Iran has a poor aviation record”…. Haven’t they also had a record of their aircraft being shot down by US weapons?

Raisi said “The only solution is a Palestinian state from the river to the sea.” In addition, in January, he predicted that the Gaza war would lead to “Israel’s destruction.” Wishing death and destruction against Israel led him to his own demise. When you come againts Israel, remember you are going to war with Yahweh, El Shaddai, The Most High God Yeshua. Genesis 12:3 - I will bless those who bless you, curse those who curse you.

Bloomberg…
Do you think your opinion matters to anyone involved in this. What’s the point of gossiping if you can’t do anything to change it. Talk a good game but don’t do anything. lol

Calling it a blame game is hilarious. Do they mean do an investigation and see if their enemies has anything to do with it? Every single thing is propaganda, smh.

I'd like to think that it will lead to an improvement, but I very much doubt that it will. The IRG is firmly in the camp of the fundamentalists.
