Cascadia HVAC controller reset

Try this before bringing in truck to the shop, due to controller located next to cup holder it is bound to get wet. This will cause blowing ambient air instead of cold or hot. This resets the controller position for the fan speeds and temperature.
Key has to be forward with truck off, fan speed should be in the lowest setting, temp in hottest setting, fan location in front facing fans, then all 3 buttons pressed until buttons leds flash. Do not touch dials or buttons until flashing stops, then turn truck on and move dials to whatever position you wish.

Which year did this work on. Mine is 2016 cascadia. I'm not sure if this would work in mine.
