I bought it then sold it a few days later… We used to always go to McDons when we wanted to save a few bucks but now it’s the same price to go out to eat decent place. I used to pull up and order 5 mcdoubles for 2$ a pop, now they’re charging 7$ for a mcdouble “value” meal…

Any company that has managed to make its rears in being a real estate Giant sadly has a pretty decent chance of outlasting competition. You have to remember that a huge portion of their Equity is also the same Equity that the US fed cannot afford to allow to go in reversal value wise. I'm not a big fan of McDonald's but they do lease a shitload of property that they own which means all of those mortgages are backed.

Buying Mcd at anything lower than say $260, would be a value..I’m going to nibble at it, but a few shares here and there while it’s beaten now. But dca each month, not going with a big lump sum

This may sound crazy but I don’t know anyone that actually goes to McDonalds or would feed it to their kids. New parents care about health and ingredients much more than parents did in the 90s. Idk who their future customer base will be.

Why do you use average P/E in the Multiples Valuation Model? There are only 3 companies to compare with, and one of them are ridiculously priced (Domino). Would make much more sense to use the median P/E.

MCD is a quality company that is trading at a reasonable price. I own some shares of MCD and plan to buy more at the current price. Plus, MCD beat the S&P 500 in 2007/2009 so it's kind of safe if the stock market adjusts in the near future. I would LOVE to see a list of quality stocks that beat the S&P 500 in 2007/2009? I am focusing on buying companies that survived that Perfect Storm and beat the S&P 500.

McDonald's challenge... buy one plain hamburger, no condiments & no onions. Remove the bun and try to eat the hamburger patty. You will question the quality of McDonald's food for the rest of your life. I promise, you will NEVER forget that experience.

The dividend grew 10% the past two years so I'd say buy a few shares here and there. A satellite to say the least.
