I recently discovered your channel and I enjoy everyone on them because they are very informative !!!
I really like this one because it covers other aspects of purchasing a home, which people who are planning to purchase a home very seldom think about .
I purchased my very first home back in 1974 when I was only 23 years old and I gained knowledge about the in and outs of purchasing a home via the "New Home " magazines that were available .
I am now in my fifth new home that I purchased in 2010 and I can relate to all or most of the hidden fees that one can expect when purchasing a home in this video .
My first four (4) new home purchases were in California and my fifth new home purchase was in Washington state.
Through the years of purchasing my new homes, I have gained both experience and knowledge about financing in purchasing a new home .
I found out that a mortgage can make or break a real estate loan and about the mortgage insurance if one puts down less than 20% on their new home purchase .
Back in 2010, when I was trying to purchase my fifth brand new home., the mortgage banker, who was the lender for the developer of the new home that I was trying to purchase and of the bank where I was banking with, wanted me to to put a down payment of $80, 000.00 on a home of $250, 000.00, with mortgage insurance and all types of points and buy downs.
To add insult to injury, the loan was an "adjustable rate mortgage "and I knew for my knowledge that I had gained that this loan was a predatory loan for a individual who is ignorant about the home buying process and financing .
Thus I walked away from both the home and the predatory loan and purchased a much better home with much better financing !!!
