The guy is just showing the recipe, he didn't named it and even with the warning saying "filipino style" and informing about the differences between original carbonara and this, he's still getting all the roast. You guys are insatiable!!

It's not carbonara, but in the Philippines and to Filipinos, when you say carbonara, you're gonna get this. So when you see carbonara on a menu here, expect this, and not the authentic Italian one made with eggs

For me, nothing beats italian-style carbonara because it originated in Italy just as nothing beats Filipino-style palabok since it originated in the Philippines. With that, everything is clearly understood.🍲

I used to use: shiitake mushrooms, green peas, and spinach to the ingredients of carbonara. Great additions if you ask me!

I'm a Filipino, and I don't agree calling this pasta dish a "Carbonara" cause it aint. In our house we just call it 'white sauce pasta.'
