Well...Doom was never a true villain, just an anti hero....but extremely smart, realistical and practical one, but never a fool . In the end one has to integrate said power into himself...always keeping it external gives way too many loopholes, infinity gauntlet is good example 😅.

What I loved about this scene is that it shows that Doom has little respect for Thanos' ideology. Thanos worships death, and destroyed Doom's wall to get to him. Doom chastises he did all that to become "Baron of the waste".

Later on when his spirit was floating in the void waiting to be reborn. His girlfriend his ex-girlfriend death had cused him to never enter her home dimension. Two more things happen that just make this better. One Thanos is thinking to himself " It appears I underestimated doom." Second Lady death made Doctor Doom hee new Herald! And hit on Dr Doom. No I'm not kidding It's Cannon. 😂 Thanos is simping after the cosmic woman who's simping after Dr Doom!
