Can I suggest a trick I’ve seen my fam do since I was a kid? Get the eggs cold before you remove the yolk, and then slip your thumb nail under the yolk (the top of your nail facing the yolk) and just sorta pop it out. Ignore me if this is a chicken egg only trick tho, I’ve never had quail eggs 😅

Lisa next time you make deviled eggs you gotta add dijon mustard, miracle whip, and chives along with the yellow mustard and mayo. TRUST ME, its delicius. :)

I always put the yolks and different filling ingredients in a plastic bag and then squish them all together while in my bag.

The cut off the corner and use it like a piping bag.

Less cleanup and makes it easier to put back into the whites while using as much as possible!

Push the knife as you roll the egg and you'll only cut the white and itll split apart and the yolk ball pops right out! ❤❤

Lmao, as a former kid who loved a dish so much It'll be my only request. I fell off the counter falling straing on my shoulder, when I was 7, saving mashed potatoes, made by my sisters 😂

When u are cutting the egg, don't cut through it. Just through the whites, then slide the knife so u role the egg on your blade. Basically cuting the whites around the yolk. It's less messy 😊 hope it helps y'all 🤗

There's a trick you can use to cut multiple cherry tomatoes at once using two deli container lids. Take the first lid, place it upright on the counter, fill it with cherry tomatoes that sit level, then place another lid upside-down on top of the tomatoes. Firmly hold the top to sandwich them together, then pass a serrated knife between the gap. It makes cutting multiples a lot less tedious. I wonder if the same principal could be applied to quail eggs since I'd imagine they're similar in size to cherry tomatoes. I bet combining this with the other comment about using cold eggs to pop out the yolks could streamline this process in the future.
