Here is a quick review for the Anker USB C to 2.5 Gbps Ethernet Adapter with speed test, MacBook Pro M1 compatibility and Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Ethernet adapter for the Mac Studio Display for full speeds.

So this used to work amazingly well. I have two iMacs next to each other. It was plug and play. I pulled the Anker connection out from my 2021 iMac to my old 2013 iMac. It even pulled close to 2, 500 mbps on the 2013.

Now, when I plug into either, it is pulling max 1, 000mbps. It's like I have no adapter at all.

Anyone have this issue?

I just purchased this....and it shows up however...it still only get 1 gig speeds...and when I go in and change to 2.5gig speeds it automatically goes back to 1gig speed, any help would be awesome!

Will this work with a ROG ZEPHYRUS gaming laptop? I bought a cat6a cable to hardwire it into my modem and I’m trying to figure out what adapter to use, I can’t tell what the little markings on the other multiple outlets mean….

Anyone else had the Anker adapter fail on them after a few months? I have, and the one I currently have, which is the same model, only works some of the time, not all of the time. Model A8341

what os are you running? I bought 2 already and can't get 2.5GB it maxes out to about 500MB.

Thanks for the great review. SUPER amazing and important to know it works with Cinema Display.. That ALMOST makes the Cinema Display worth it. The LED link light flashed ORANGE. Does that confirm a 2.5 GbE connection? Does it have a different color at 1 GbE connection? Question I have 1.5gbps I want to get this 2.5 so that I can get my full 1.5gbps, I know there is 1gbps adapters but there isnt any 1.5gbps adapters for my imac so im curious if i go with this 2.5gbps i could potentially reach my 1.5 speeds rather than just getting a 1gbps which will only givee 1gbps, so should i get this 2., 5gbps adapter to reach my 1.5gbps?

Whatvkind of ethernet cable would youb need ? All my sevices get 900 to 1 gig even 1200 but i think the ethernet cable ia trash.. my pc oa only issue sp i jave no idea what or where the issue is.

I keep getting a code 66 on my asus motherboard after trying to do a full reset to a previous version on windows 10. Now all I get is a black screen... got any videos for this? A 3 year old video of yours got me here, about clearing cmos. Nothing is working thanks!

There is powered ones now so if ya using ya phone and it o ly has 1 charging port. You can still charge your phone and have a Lan connection

Would not recommend this product. I have a consistent 2.5gb connection ethernet to mac mini, and tested this product on mac mini and macbook - neither worked. After restarting Mac Mini - it worked sporadically but capped at 1gbps - too unreliable to be used.
