He's never had a bad musician tour with him. Phil Collins is one of those super versatile pop stars that could make something catchy, uplifting and fun, but then something extremely touching and dark and show real adult emotions that make people wake up, some of his stuff got pretty real for pop music. Nothing about it was fake or gimmicky. That's probably why so many metal and hard rock bands did covers of his music. I'm a bass and metal head at heart, but something about phils music will always inspire me. Just good song writing and raw talent, period.

#1 I love Phil Collins so I can say that no performance trumps the first time he performed this great song on stage.

Wow! I've seen Phil Collins in solo tours at least 4 times and he always had Chester Thompson with him on drums. Never saw any video with Ricky Lawson on drums with him. Lawson I did see on several tours with Steely Dan! Great video except for a few glitches.
