Massive heat wave hits Southern California as many beaches are placed on ocean water advisory

Health officials are warning beachgoers to stay out of the water at four popular Los Angeles-area beaches due to high bacteria levels.
A widespread heat wave headed to Southern California by midweek is expected to bring possible record-breaking temperatures with it.

Also, you need to hydrate days in advance, your body needs to get it's water intake properly level. If you're drinking when you're feeling uncomfortably thirsty, you're already a little too dehydrated.

Remember to call your parents and make sure they are cool and safe. If you can’t afford AC, head out to your local mall or library.

Please people, stay hydrated! If someone you know or strangers is losing consciousness due to the heat, get them in the shaded cool area, get a ice pack, place on the back of the neck and head to cool them down, cold water and Gatorade should be the things they need to drink, the body needs electrolytes as well as water.
