We go over the full build up and conversion of a Holley carb to run E85. We also go over some of the reasons E85 might be an appealing option. This will work for the Vacuum secondary, but also the double pumper with a few different parts from the E85 swap kit supplier.

What is the timing curve and total timing with your 144? Getting ready to install a 142. Thanks!

I guess that answers that question you can run e85 with a forced induction.

A trick for the squirters. Use a dental pick to remove and install squirters and for gaskets use a long skinny flat head. Run gaskets to handle, pit just the tip in the hole then let gasket drop down screw driver the center.
Also to raise idle without coming up to high on idle circuits, just adjust the secondary screw under neath by vacuum booster linkage.

I thought there was a drill bit included and the main boosters needed to be drilled?

Tip for setting your curb idle screw- hook your vacuum gauge to the ported vacuum port. As long as you have no vacuum at idle, you're on the idle circuit and your transfer slots are golden. It takes all the guesswork out of setting the idle. Have you looked into adding a dashpot for the AC?
