We recently bought a 2015 Tesla model S Titanium Metalic P85D with insane+ with full package.

I couldn't find any video on this specific model or the different between insane vs Insane plus.

A 2min video is nowhere close to enough for this car...

I'm a Tesla P85d fan. With fluctuating gas prices, you know those gas prices will go up eventually again. Not only that, but it's a family sedan that can go one on one in a street race against names like Ferrari and Lamborghini and hold its own. Not only that but P85D acceleration is faster than Lamborghini Aventador and other supercars. It actually takes most super-expensive super-rare supercars about 3 seconds to even catch up to a Tesla. WTF? Now i'm impressed. Tesla P85d is your family sedan electric car with the power of a Lamborghini. How many family sedan car manufacturer's can say that?

Refill in 20 minutes doesn't seem "slow recharge" to me.  You pull-in to the supercharger, take a bathroom break or snack break, and then your car is ready to go when you return.  That's for road trips.... on daily trips your car charges while you sleep (so basically No wasted time at the gas station)

I wish cooley could do a full review of it. if there's one thing I don't like about CNET it's some reviews are in depth and complete and others seem rushed and incomplete

In Indonesia this tesla S series cost $200.000
It requires 10k Watt of house electricity so it can charge the car
The buyer will also get a training course for driving/ using the car

*Sorry for bad english :P

I bet the next generation Tesla S will be called the P85Q with quad motors doing some insane hypercar performance figures.

No doubt the Tesla's are indeed great cars, and what would be a bit better is lower cost batteries and just a little interior refinement. We have had Mercedes for a long, long time and indeed the Tesla has our attention for our next purchase. They really need a better dealership structure though our Mall here in SW FL just recently opened a sales center...

Can you imagine how boring cars may be in the future. No v8 roar, or the cool sounds of turbo cars. Muted cars of the future.

Hate to be 'that guy' but the math was wrong on the price, it should be $106, 420, not $103, 920
