It's true, alzheimer worse than cancer because it eats your spirit. Cancer cause you extreme pain, eats your vital organs but at least you have your brain to help you defeat it.

My heart 💔 goes for people who have both

I've never seen this film, but I heard she got the Oscar for her performance, which makes me want to see it.  I've said before to friends and family that I would rather get cancer than have alzheimers too because to me, my brain is my greatest asset and allows me to excel in life.  I am no super genius, but my brain is stronger than most; without my brain, I can't see the point in living.  It's sort of a horrible thing to say (to rather have cancer or any other disease than Alzheimer's), but if I were brain dead and on life support, I would instruct my family to pull the plug.

I know this argumentation very well. You try to make a deal by replacing some shit in your life with other shit - to have toothaches instead of love sickness.

This guy is so awful! Worried about looking good at this dinner while his wife is struggling. How important can your status (career) be? So off
