Mike Mangini - Fall into the Light Ending

This video shows me playing (live drum sound but music w/album tracks,) and counting along. I am counting in 5/4 and keeping track of each 4 bars of it, including the guitar & drums riff at the very end. The point of this clip that is the drum’s pitch changes make a listener, including me, feel a different "beat" than the actually 1/4 note pulse. I'm feeling the 5/4 base quarter note time.
