Simply put he was exposed to extreme levels of radiation due to bombing on Hadley's hope, this Xeno survived nuclear winter and since Xenomorphs can adapt and evolve rapidly so did this one and gained some unique distinctions like having liquid nitrogen like icy corrosive liquid instead of acid tho the effects were similar
