HEALTHY METHI MUTTER SABZI- Get Fit With Meghna
Five reasons why you would want to have this sabzi regularly-
1. You know the health benefits of Fresh Methi leaves and fresh Mutter; especially this season
2. We have cleverly avoided cream and other high calorie ingredients by finding its substitutes
3. Just takes a few minutes to cook with very basic masalas ; 4. You can carry this in tiffin
5.. It’s one sabzi I eat very regularly as my weight management dish
Ingredients :
One big bunch of Methi, finely chopped
300 gm Green Peas
Coarsely crushed Peanuts & White Sesame Seeds
3-4 Garlic Cloves
2 Green Chillies
1 small Ginger Knob
2 tsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
Salt as per taste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
300 gm Green Peas
1 spoon Water
Method :
In a pan, dry roast 1 tbs Gram Flour, 1 tbs Peanuts & 1 tbs White Sesame Seeds seperately
Coarsely crush Peanuts & Til
Chop 3-4 Garlic Cloves, 2 Green Chillies & 1 small Ginger Knob in a chopper
Heat 2 tsp Oil in a pan
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Add a pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
Add chopped Ginger, Garlic & Green Chillies
Add 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
Add Salt as per taste
Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
Add 1 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
Add 300 gm Green Peas
Add a spoonful of Water
Cover the lid and let it partially cook
Add finely chopped Methi and mix it
Cover the lid and cook for 5-7 min on medium heat
Add 1 tbs roasted Besan
Drizzle a little Water, cover and cook for a while
Further add crushed Peanuts & White Sesame Seeds
Mix it and turn off the heat
Take it on a serving plate
Enjoy Delicious Methi Matar ki Sabji with Roti
