I got an LG C2 42" in March this year, I haven't looked back since, the picture is absolutely fantastic and at the time there were no other tv's that good at that price point.

I went with the LG G2 as well. I wanted a 77" for a specific wall, the fastest processor for gaming, HDR10+ a user friendly on screen interface. The decision came down to getting a 10 year refined W-OLED or a 1 year technology that hasn't fully explored its boundaries. My only regret is now the LG G3 has the MLA tech. The next one (2024) will likely be a bigger QLED to have the best of both worlds.

The Sony "LED" TV's are actually QLED's btw, the main difference between Sony and Samsung QLED is that Samsung's use a white backlight vs Sony's use a blue backlight, just allows for better colours.

Doesn't OLED burn in? Wouldn't that make it a terrible choice for a gaming tv? And Amy adjustments made to make it "safe" just make the OLED pointless

I went from a G1 to an A95K. The upgrade in image quality was far more substantial than you’d expect. The brightness and color volume on the A95K blows the G1 out of the water. There is no input lag playing PS5 on it either.

Sony X90J is still the best choice if you’re looking for a non-OLED with 4K / 120 / VRR / HDMI 2.1 for gaming.

Honestly we just need to know 3 things : Is it somewhat future proof examples : 120hz, hdr10+, low latency, snappy interface, 2. So beauty on any console & 3 is beautiful on most movies hdr or not and maybe the speakers whether it needs a sound bar or can do without

I got myself a TCL P735 earlier this year. Even though the TV is at 60hz, and it’s an LED one, it’s probably the best TV I’ve had so far, especially since it has Dolby Vision and Atmos support

C2 here upgrade for me compared to a QN90A. I loved the QN90A for the brights but the blacks were terrible, and local dimming was poorly implemented. I can run any HDR game on the XBX or PS5 in HGIG and it looks amazing. Never use tone mapping, you'll thank me!

Samsung S95B really wowed me. Perfect paring for consoles IMHO.

for gaming the S95B is a better TV than the A95k, it has more gaming features and the TV gets brighter which is important for HDR gaming

LG C2 is still the best you can buy in terms of price. Sure you can get better but you'd need to spend like double the money. Nothing comes close to the C2 at that price.

LG B7 55’’ oled owner here. Burn in was bad 2 years in. First screen replacement was due to overheating in one specific area of tv. Now the new screen has a ‘square’ of burn in after two years of being replaced. This was normal use.

Don't forget that Samsung tvs don't support dolby vision BUT also don't forget that for people like me who only have Disney plus that supports dolby vision it's not an issue because Netflix upcharges for dolby vision and the ps5/Xbox don't support dolby vision even for UHD blu rays. So tbh it's not a deal breaker for normal people for the next few years at least.

I have the A95K and wouldnt go back. It as the best PQ and is fantastic for gaming. I own all consoles but gaming features are important but PQ is my number one priority
