Great marketing as just that, marketing. You have been lying that the X900H has been "PS5 Ready" since launch and 18 months later VRR/ALLM has just started rolling out in what is best described as beta with another false promise of "fully rolling out later this year" like seriously if it wasn't such a hassle to do a class action lawsuit, it would be well worth it for the false advertising that has been done. Love my X900h for movies and the built in game mode is decent, but I bought it with the logic of VRR and ALLM was there already and I just needed my PS5 or Xbox series X to take advantage of it 😑

Great features that really help not to break immersion!

With that being said, after a couple of weeks after this announcement i can already see people saying, "another features to tie us down to Sony". What these people don't understand is that Sony can only control what's inside Sony technology.
Their spec ratings are different then that of other panels/manufacturers.
Sony would only prove more work for themselves if they tried implementing this for other TV brands, essentially opening the flood gates for more issues with the community.

Every time I try to use 4k/120hz I loose the sound, get it together Sony, I have no issues at all with my LG C1 and it has more features out of the box.

This is the reason why I always purchase Sony TVs. I want everything that is connected to be Sony such as my TV, Playstation 5, sound bar, headphones, etc.

VRR, Dolby Vision and 4K120 (simultaneously) as an input option for TV's please. Also, Dolby Vision for 4K Blu-ray on PS5 please. Let's go Sony!! I love my A80J & PS5 combo, just missing a few features that can be added through software.
