Spectrum is the eleventh studio album by Japanese jazz pianist Hiromi Uehara. The album was released by Telarc in Japan on 18 September 2019.
Hiromi explains that "The concept of this album is 'color' and the idea of the title track 'Spectrum' is the following: various colors connect and expand, just like the musical notes." She also mentioned that it was her first piano teacher who taught her to understand the instrument via colors.

世界規模での活躍を続けるジャズピアニスト、上原ひろみさんが、10年振りのソロ・ピアノ・アルバム『Spectrum』を2019年9月18日(水)にリリース。
このアルバムのコンセプトは“色彩。万華鏡のように刻々と変化するきらめき。真っ白な雪景色のなかで微かに浮かぶ濃淡。ブルーな音色が映し出す細やかな喜怒哀楽。言葉では描写できない繊細で豊かなイメージが、次々と目の前に繰り広げられる。

このアルバムの中でやはり私のお気に入りはこの、『Spectrum』。鮮やかな色彩遣いがこれだけ作品の中で表れているものがあるだろうか。
