I print most of my minis at 36mm. Its such a fun size to paint and it looks great on the table.

The best thing about printing is that I can scale to the scale of the most models I have.

I primarily buy and print for roleplaying games, so I want all my stuff compatible with my existing minis (the humanoids). Even boardgames with minis.

Death May Die from CMON took it to another level with the baby Size Cthulhu. Monolith and all their Mythic Battles games are doing it a lot.

And then you start with true scaling your firstborn space marines after playing against Imperial Guard for the first time...Speaking from experience. luckily I only had to convert 45 infantry models.

I always wish battletech was to scale to each other, And use N scale just because you can get a lot of model railroad figures that look good. Shame some of those buildings are pricey.

FOMO pushed me away from the "big names" KS. Smelled fishy at first, then it became obvious it was a scam.
Bigger models are surprisingly useful used for smaller scales: the recent larger mechs you get in a lot of 28mm games are excellent vehicles for 15mm scaled troops.

Kickstarter Battletech--I shelled out 500.00 on core box, extra miniatures, dice, Alpha Strike cards, hard cover books, modules, novels etc. 6 months ago and still waiting for my shipment.

This is what happens when the government prints all that free stimulus bail out money. It drives up prices for these games. There is less product and more money for the highest bidder.
