I think Juno's mother worked with Mei in the lore, and with Mei having a close connection with Juno's mother, it would make sense why Juno would consider Mei as more of an aunt figure

There's ironically a picture in her landing pod that suggests Mei actually is Juno's aunt somehow. And when she has anxiety, bring Reinhardt. She gets cheered up *and* comforted by everyone's favorite grandpa with a hammer, Sir Wilhelm.

To be fair, she is the only one on the super far away planet by herself with no family (excluding Mei in this scenario since Mei is always on her team) around and people are murdering each other as soon as she lands. I’d be anxious too
