I built everything but I still haven't bought my GPU. I essentially have the exact same build, I can't decide between the 4070 super and 4070 ti super. I think the 16gb will go a long way for the coming years, so I might go with the ti super.

Not bad. I can say that using a bit of DLSS (on quality) and maybe DLSS Frame Generation at 4k‚ and some games could benefit of pretty nice high refreshrate experience (not the same experience as with real high FPS in terms of latency‚ but for single player games it is good enough).

More stable drivers? Nvidia fix their driver issues? 5 year ago, I'd agree with that, but AMD has seemed to resolve their driver issue and I've not seen driver instability from them for quite a while. So I'm just wondering if there is something I've missed.

I just built a pc after 10+ of not building any PC’s. My gigabyte 4070ti super is running very good. The difference from it to the 4080 is like 5% performance difference sometimes less then 5%.

Built a similar PC but with a 7900XT and an Artic liquid freezer AIO. Drivers, FSR and Ray Tracing have all been good at 1440p. Think everyone needs to be a little more realistic about how narrow the performance gap between AMD and Nvidia is getting. Rasterized performance, AMD wins by 5-10%, Ray Tracing, Nvidia wins by 5-10%. Some games look better with DLSS and some lose to FSR. Driver issues are basically equal between both companies. AMD has more VRAM which amounts to greater longevity and is $100 less for a comparable gaming experience. Nvidia is the best, but it's a photo finish margin not some multi-lap lead.

For rtx 4070 ti super with rx 7800x3d, if I use 850 watt gold PSU, is it enough? (if i Overlock cpu, gpu/ram) or is it better use 1000 watt PSU?
