I discovered this song at the same time as a college friend passed away rather tragically. I was stuck for a time in a sad state of just thinking how it was unfair for such a good and happy friend to have their young life get taken away and what possibilities would never come to fruition for them. Then how for everyone; family, friends, and loved ones would have to eventually continue on with their lives. The first day after they were buried was a hard day but keeping their energy and spirit alive by living how he did brought some comfort that he, too, continued on in some way. I know it's a different type of heartbreak but I feel like the lyrics still resonated well. "There's a hope in every new seed." <3
