"Bună ziua" means and is has always meant "good day", all day, every day! Hello would be like ola! or hei! in Romanian language. Though it can be equated to "Salut!" and/or "Bună. Digital age shortcuts and artificial constructs are irrelevant outside digitalizations and online shortcomings, if you will.

Hello ma'am! The biggest confusion I face while learning Romanian is it's pronounciation. My exact issue is, can't understand the various sounds of Romanian alphabet. I tried to search this from other sources but it was a little helpful.
Ma'am, I sincerely request you to undertake a special session in this regard with demonstration of function of tongue, lips and teeth while pronouncing various alphabets.
